What are Eyelash Extensions?
Each of our aestheticians are trained to apply synthetic semi-permanent eyelash extensions one by one to each individual natural eyelash as an alternative to using mascara. They are not like traditional false strip lashes and can be worn daily without nightly removal. We can apply eyelash extensions in a variety of different lengths and thicknesses. We offer different styles including synthetic mink lashes, which are silky soft, as well as volume lashes to create maximum fullness. Whether you want an everyday look, dramatic glam, or somewhere in between, we can achieve your desired look.
Procedure
Your aesthetician will go through a consultation and may ask questions about your health and lifestyle to help customize your perfect lash look. For your initial full set of eyelash extensions you can expect 60-80 lashes per eye and about 2 hours for application. The process is painless and relaxing as you lay comfortably with your eyes closed. We use medical-grade eyelash adhesive to bond the extension to your single natural lash. The adhesive is cured and sealed to the natural lash by the time you leave so you can continue on with your day. To ensure your safety during and after the procedure, eyelash extensions are never applied to your skin and only applied to your natural lashes.
Maintenance
Because the lash extension is attached to your natural hair they will fall out together during the natural growth cycle. So most patients will get an eyelash fill every 2-3 weeks to ensure the desired fullness and volume. To ensure the longevity of the lashes it is very important to keep the lashes clean daily from any dirt and debris. The lash extensions are very durable and withhold the shape as you clean them and brush the lash extensions with the wand. Cleansing them daily will also promote healthy and strong natural lashes. We also offer a removal service for when you need a break from the extensions.
