If you are a Beachwood or Westlake Plastic Surgery patient from out-of-town and you need someone to stay with you after your surgery, I am the person for you! I’m Dr. Goldman’s Medical Assistant and have worked with him for over 18 years.
Sometimes a patient has just moved to the area or just wants to keep their surgery private. We can offer this service for a nominal fee. Occasionally, we have a patient who may be interested in going forward with surgery, but who is hesitant because they don’t have a family member or close friend in the area to stay with them post-surgery. It is imperative that patients have someone to care for and to be with them for the first 24 hours post-surgery. I will be sure you are taking your prescribed meds in the correct dose and time. I’m here to change dressings, take care of your drains (if you have them), adjust garments, and to answer any questions that you may have, as well as being the liaison to Dr. Goldman, if you are experiencing anything unusual.
We offer this service at the Marriot Hotel, which is conveniently situated directly behind our Beachwood office building where your surgery will take place. We can drive or “wheel” you over and get you comfortably settled into a two-bedroom suite with a living room/kitchen in between. I will cook/heat up a meal for you, or go pick up dinner, and I will be in the adjoining room, setting my alarm clock to wake you up and check on you during the night. In the case of abdominoplasties, we need to see the patient the next day, and I will accompany you to post-op appointment with one of our nurses.
The Marriot gives you the best price possible, a “Dr. Goldman discount” which you need to mention when you are booking your room. We have found them to be especially accommodating towards our patients and this relationship with our office contributes to a good experience in a safe environment close to Dr. Goldman.
